1. Purpose
These terms govern bookings of the registered tourist accommodation offered on logement-enghien.fr, operated by the website publisher identified in the legal notice, hereinafter “the owner”.
2. Booking and payment
A booking becomes firm once the full amount of the stay has been paid and the owner has confirmed it in writing (by e-mail). Prices are per night, utilities included, for the number of guests stated at the time of booking.
3. Tourist tax
The tourist tax set by the town of Enghien-les-Bains is charged in addition, according to the applicable rates, and is paid together with the stay.
4. Cancellation by the guest
Any cancellation must be notified in writing (by e-mail). Cancellation 21 days or more before the arrival date: full refund. Cancellation less than 21 days before arrival: no refund. Failure to collect the keys or to show up counts as a cancellation without refund.
5. Cancellation by the owner
Should the owner cancel the stay, the guest is fully refunded all sums paid, with no further compensation.
6. Arrival and departure
Check-in from 3 p.m.; check-out by 11 a.m. at the latest. Any overstay that has not been agreed may be charged as an additional night.
7. Security deposit
A security deposit of €500 may be requested before arrival, by card pre-authorisation or bank transfer. It is released within 7 days of departure, less the cost of any damage or missing items found.
8. Occupancy and use
The accommodation may not be occupied by more people than the stated capacity. Parties and events are prohibited. Pets are welcome; any damage they cause remains the guest’s responsibility. The accommodation is non-smoking.
9. Liability
The guest is responsible for the accommodation, its furniture and its equipment for the duration of the stay, and is advised to check their holiday-rental cover with their insurer.
10. Personal data and disputes
Data collected is processed in accordance with the website’s privacy policy. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought; failing that, the guest may refer the matter free of charge to a consumer mediator. French law applies.
